We have three permission levels on the system:

  • Admin - Full Control of the system
  • School Admin - Can only view the information for the students in their school. They cannot edit any information and cannot view students from other schools.
  • Parent - Can only view the information for the students assigned to them. They cannot edit any information and cannot view other students.

To add a new Admin, School Admin or Parent to your system follow the following steps:

  • Ask the new user to register on your system. They will need to register for an account and then verify their email address.
  • Once the new user has registered, and admin should visit the Staff and Parents page. From this page they will be able to see the current list of privileged users.
  • Select the Add Privileges button, then select the user on the popup.
  • Select the relevant options on the subsequent popups.
  • Once complete the user will be granted new permissions when they next log in. Hence they may need to sign out and sign back in if they were already signed in.

Attendance reports are available on each students profile. They show the attendance for all days which are recorded - e.g. if you don't record on weekends these will not be included in the stats or breakdown.

Yes, most parts of the system are customisable including the student reports. Just let us know what you would like adding or removing and we'll get that sorted for you.

If you open a student profile there is an option to archive (or unarchive) the student within the Tools box.

You can add or remove students from the prospective student list from their profile. Prospective students do not show on the attendance register.

The attendance page allows you to leave quick notes about a student for any given day. These notes are shown on the attendance page to both Admins, School Admins and Parents.

More detailed notes can be left on a student's profile - just select the Add Notes option.

Full reports can also be added on a student's profile. These are more detailed, can be named and printed. Let us know if you'd like customisation.

Each student profile has a files section where you can manage files for that particular student. A shared folder for the student's school will be automatically created. Any files uploaded into this folder will be visible to School Admin's from the corresponding school. If the student is moved to a different school a new folder will be  automatically created. You can move any files you want to share with the new school into this folder.
Parents can see the files for their children.

To enable automatic attendance emails for a student simply supply the notification email and name on the student's profile. Next time an attendance record is updated for that student you will be asked if you wish to send the notification email. If you wish to only send a sub-set of attendance notifications, please save the attendance in batches.
